People are so quick to talk shit about where I’m from like “omg I heard they kidnap people in Mexico.” Or “I heard they cut people’s heads off.” Yes. Things like these happen. They sadly have happened. But it amazes me and they’re shocked to hear those kinds of news, meanwhile unarmed black folks over here getting shot with their hands in the air.
